July 27, 2016: the Presidential race is in full swing.
During a press conference at the Doral Resort, in Florida, a reporter asks Donald Trump a question about Putin and Russia:
“Mr. Trump, should you become President, would you treat Vladimir Putin as an adversary, or as an ally?”
Trump replied:
“I would treat Vladimir Putin firmly, but I would try to have Russia friendly, as opposed to the way [the US-Russia relationships] are right now, so we can go and knock out ISIS together, and with other countries”
Trump added:
“wouldn't be nice if we actually get along with people?”
“wouldn't be nice if we get along, as an example, with Russia?”
”I'm all for it”

July 27, 2016:
But those statements of July 27, 2016, triggered the alarm bells at the Deep State headquarters. To 'try to have Russia friendly' and to 'try to get along with Putin' are mortal sins, in the eyes of the Deep State Cabal, and those mortal sins cannot be tolerated.
The Deep State Cabal and the Military-Industrial Complex did not let Trump adopt the policy he wanted, with Putin and Russia.
The Military-Industrial Complex always needs Endless Wars to sell weapons and boost their profits.
No Wars = No Profits.
And what happened after those remarks at the Doral Resort, of July 27, 2016?
Four days later, on July 31, 2016, Peter Strzok launched the FBI “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation on Trump.
Mere coincidence, right?
The Foreign Policy that Trump wanted to implement towards Putin and Russia was similiar to the open, friendly but frank relationship that President Ronald Reagan had with the Russian leader, Mikhail Gorbachev: “Trust, but Verify”.
Here we have President Ronald Reagan with Mikhail Gorbachev, walking together in the Red Square, in Moscow, in May 1988:
This is the video of the event,

This is what means “getting along” with Russia.
The friendly and frank relationship between President Ronald Reagan with Mikhail Gorbachev is what put an end to the Cold War.
And put an end to Communism in Russia.
Trump and Ronald Reagan
Donald Trump knew personally President Ronald Reagan:
In the photograph: President Ronald Reagan shaking hands with Donald Trump at a reception in the Blue Room of the White House, on November 3, 1987.
I think Ronald Reagan was the model Trump was looking at, regarding how to build a frank and fruitful relationship with Putin and Russia.
“wouldn't be nice if we actually get along with people?”
“wouldn't be nice if we get along, as an example, with Russia?”
”I'm all for it”
President Trump and Vladimir Putin met face to face in Helsinki, in July 2018:
Putin said to Trump: “The ball is now in your court”
From the videos and from the photographs of the Helsinki summit, it seems that Trump and Putin were “getting along” quite nicely.
In the end it comes up to a simple question:
”is it better to have a good relationship with Russia,
or is it better to have Russia as an enemy?”
Having Russia as an enemy means pushing Russia towards Communist China, thus having to face two powerful enemies, instead of one.
Who is the psycho who really wants that?
Certanly warmongers like John Bolton, Sen. Lindsey Graham, the Biden Cabal, the deranged democrats Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff.
Add John Brennan, Michael Hayden and the CIA.
And the Military-Industrial Complex, of course.
Probably President Trump wanted to have a good personal relationship with Vladimir Putin, just like Ronald Reagan had a friendly personal relationship with Gorbachev.
But the Deep State Cabal and the Military-Industrial Complex didn’t allow him.

Greg I agree with your Trump assessment saying he was modeling Reagan. I question the Russia / Ukraine situation when I hear Soros, Hillary and many other are all flocking to Ukraine and hating and almost begging to goto war with Russia. Very bad ideas! Your list of war mongers extends into so many Rinos. In fact R= Rinos now. Lindsey Graham among the worst.
